In collaboration with the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, I’ve had the privilege of creating two commissioned short films. Halls of Heroes is an intimate portrait of life after military service, told through the stories and spaces of Southern California’s VFW halls. Language of the Cosmos explores the surprising intersection of dance and space, tracing the shared rhythms of movement, curiosity, and human imagination.
Sounds for Plant Lovers
Sounds for Plant Lovers was a passion project born at the height of the pandemic in 2020. I wanted to create mixtapes that provided connection and community at a time when space was the place. Today, SFPL is on the air at Portland’s public radio station, KMHD and spotlights dorm room insomnia into sonic tapestry in the form of lo fi, jazz, rap and world sounds.
